We had originally planned to try out the popular Sushi Gen, only to find out that they are closed on Sundays. Only to tip on the full amount. Is it not Your choice how much to leave? Not a discount of any good value. Bottom line a good dinner turned into a sour taste just because this place is about greed and more. Not about customers and having them come back. After 2. Too bad as this could have been a great neighborhood restaurant.
With a different management and different customer service. Avoid this place. You can smell the cigar bar anywhere in the place. I can only guess why the Health Dept lets them get away with it. Forget the Living Social coupon.

You're supposed to get dinner for two The food's okay Applebee quality for plus bucks after you've done with drinks. I ate here with a business group.
The staff were friendly and handled the group well. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good across the board from steaks to veggie burger. I recommend it if you're in the area. The only down side is it isn't conveniently located, there was only one vegetarian option and you can't escape the cigar smell when you walk in although it didn't permeate the dining room. Probably the best thing about these coupons So we ordered a bottle of wine No big deal.
We started with the Lump Crab meat trio. Very nice My wife and I split the Roasted beet salad which was very good. For our entree, I had the skirt steak while my wife had the prime rib. While my skirt steak was pretty good, my wife's prime rib was not so hot.
Not sure what it was.
To me, it tasted a bit like the meat had been frozen. Just had an 'off' taste. We probably should have said something, but I don't know, but I think my steaks at home any kind always come out better than any I can buy in any restaurant. I like a little seasoning on mine. Lately the steaks I've had out were good I like to apply some garlic salt and some Montreal Steak seasoning on my red meat and if possible and my charcoal grill isn't snowed under We had a dessert too, but I can't remember what we had. BUT not in a bad way. The lounge does a decent job at least this night of keeping the smoke out of the restaurant.
The decor of the restaurant is very dark and cool The wait staff was attentive and very courteous. Definitely on my 'will be back again' list.

There were the standard muffin, Danish, bagels accompanied by several smoked meats, salmon and condiments. Then there was house and Cesar salad. They also had the omelette and carving station featuring roast beef.

What we like the most is the fact that it was a full service brunch buffet, meaning there was somebody serving the guests at each station. This certainly curbed food waste caused by some of us who.. Let say have bigger appetites that the actual personal real estate. The brunch advertised to come with mimosa or Bellini, however, we were charged for them when the bill came.
It was immediately sorted out though. The restaurant recently promoted about their free shuttle service within 20 miles radius, which we think was an awesome marketing strategy. Waitresses were very friendly and were always eager to provide assistance. We have never been there for lunch or dinner, though with the free shuttle we will certainly consider this for our next grown up date night. Own or manage this property?
